About the Author

Steven D. Mathewson (PhD, Stellenbosch University; DMin, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary) is senior pastor of CrossLife Evangelical Free Church in Libertyville, Illinois, and director of the Doctor of Ministry program at Western Seminary, Portland. He is also an adjunct faculty member at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and Moody Bible Institute.
