The Banker of Seaworth

"So, let me tell you about my new novel called The Banker of Seaworth. It's a story dear to my heart, and I hope that it will turn out to be one that every one of you will relate to.

Imagine a world away from the hubbub of the city: sea breeze scented with salt and bladderwrack. That is Seaworth. It's a little town in Cornwall—a place where time seems to stand still.

Our protagonist, Edward, is a through-and-through city gent, living by numbers and spreadsheets. Life has other plans; he inherits a cottage in Seaworth. It's quite a different pace of life, with, well, all the pitfalls.

But as Edward starts to acclimate to his life by the sea, he discovers a community full of spirit amidst its economic struggle. As much as Seaworth has an obvious 'feel' for its setting, it also resonates deeply with the land and the sea. It's a place where people look out for each other, and there is, at the same time, so much community.

Edward decides it is time to help the town revive itself. Business, love, relationships, and all the intricacies of small-town life make for one journey of ups and downs. At the core of everything lies a beautiful love story between Edward and one of the local artists, named Sarah. Their relationship grows within the backdrop of this beautiful, yet suffering, community.

I hope The Banker of Seaworth whisks you off to this beautiful Cornish coast, that it will make you laugh out loud, and maybe even cry a little. It's a story of hope and resilience, the power of the human connection. I just can't wait for you to meet the characters and experience Seaworth's magic for yourself.
