Something incredible is buried under Grange Hall, and archaeologist Nicholas Prentiss is determined to uncover it. Nicholas discovered an ancient Roman object buried on the property when he was a boy. Now, he is convinced a find of great historic significance lies right under his feet. Georgia Vinup is a retired school psychologist. She is also a registered gemologist appraiser. She enjoys travelling, going to the opera and writing stories. Ms. Vinup is presently vice president of Firedrake Books, an internet publisher of children's and teen's books. She lives on the banks of a tidal creek in the Northern Neck of Virginia and spends her winters in southwest Florida.

David Prescott is a retired clerk of works and builder who received his degree as an architectural technician from the Richmond upon Thames College. His interests include travel, motorbikes, photography and writing poetry. Originally from the United Kingdom, Mr. Prescott now lives in Virginia, U. S. A.
