The Brooklyn Breakdown
Caught as a hostage in a baffling terrorist hold-up in a deli in Union Square, Danny is a victim of unfortunate circumstances – yet another in a series of malfunctions in his meaningless life. Except, this one will be his last.

Managing to stay humorous despite the constant stream of misfortunes in his life, Danny accepts his fate, just as he has accepted his life. But he is unaware of the fact that there are other hostages there with him that day – brilliant corporate executives – that have a lot to lose. Or of the fact that their survival could hinge on Danny himself, who has absolutely nothing to lose.

Seemingly unrelated to all of this are two private detectives in the glamour and opulence of Monaco, hot in pursuit of the men who conspired to kill a young Swiss heiress. What they uncover instead is a stunning conspiracy spanning the Atlantic. The murder attempt was just the beginning – the terrorist plot could well be the horrific culmination.

About the Author

James Easteridge has done all kinds of things before finally taking to writing. He has been an entrepreneur, salesperson, business analyst, and computer programmer. He has lived and worked in and around New York City for the past fifteen years. He has traveled widely around the world on business and pleasure.

He regularly interacts with a variety of people, all of whom are interesting characters in their own right. Over the years, his experiences have strengthened his knowledge of the human heart and mind, something he believes should be evident in his characters.
He loves spinning a good yarn while he can. The Brooklyn Breakdown is his second novel. He has also written The Oxbury Proposal, an online title, which can be purchased from Amazon for the Kindle, or from Barnes and Noble for the Nook.
