Overview

Olivia and her grandfather meet in Lake Tahoe, California, to celebrate Thanksgiving and continue the ButtPutty stories. A violent snowstorm sweeps into the mountains isolating them at the Marriott Timber Lodge. It's the perfect setting for Olivia, Aunt Anna, and their new friend Cheri, to sit in front of a warm fire and listen to more gang hijinks, adventures, and interactions with famous people of yesteryear.

Everyone is enthralled with the latest stories. The Match turns a Catholic priest into a raging alcoholic who must take early retirement before he hurts someone or himself. Smart Ass outwits an investigator sent from the Catholic archdiocese to nab the person responsible for the elaborate pranks at the high school. And Fidel is talked into posing as a priest to hear confessions.

But what really grabs everyone's attention is when Fidel hears the confession of a murderer. Nola connects the confession to the disappearance of Gimpy and his brother. She immediately launches her own investigation to determine, once and for all, what happened to her fellow gang member.
