During the Khmer Rouge regime, the genocide in Cambodia in Pol Pot regime were so horrible. The brutal killing, the malnutrition, the starvation, and the terrible end life of children by diseases are my deepest sad emotion thinking in this story.

The refugees or immigrants came to America in search of opportunities to live with a better lives. Also people believe that America and Western Europe countries provide enough democracy to the people. The vicious tragic events that no one could believe why the Khmer Rouge regime destroyed their own blood.
