About the Author

Sharon Cramer is the author and illustrator of the award-winning, three-picture book series, Cougar Cub Tales.She is also the author and illustrator of the Book of the Year Finalist children's book, Marlow and the Monster, and is currently working on a new young adult series calledThe Cerulean Star. Sharon's first novel, The Execution, was released in February of 2012.
A native New Yorker, Cramer lived throughout the United States before settling in the Pacific Northwest. She is also an avid equestrian who rides almost daily and says her greatest passions are writing and painting
Sharon studied at the University of Houston, Idaho State University, and Gonzaga University, but she has long settled in the Pacific Northwest, "Because I love the weather patterns. It lends itself to creative writing." It is in Spokane, Washington that she lives and writes. She is married and has three grown sons.
