Incredible story from Ishar P. Singh, I was transported to a world which draws off of the history of Punjab and its people.

This book hopefully sets the scene for many more of its kind!

The story does a great job of mixing fiction with true life events taken from the history of Punjab, which some may find surprising, enlightening a new generation, to the struggles Sikhs have faced.

I am waiting in anticipation to read what next Ishar P. Singh releases!

Great book highly recommend, a great read. It highlights the suffering of Sikh's and a brief look into the historical truth of what is was like for all sikh's. Really enjoyed the read and look forward to the next book.

In film and print, Sikhs are mostly portrayed as either fundamentalists or jokers, so it was refreshing to read a story with seemingly normal Sikhs. I enjoyed seeing the growth of the characters over the book, and I love how Ishar weaves in historical details without it feeling forced.

TLDR: Entertaining. Refreshing. Funny. 5 stars.
