Isn't it interestingly true that before diamonds became one the most valuable items known to the world it was a lump of coal. A
coal; a combustible black or dark brown rock consisting mainly of carbonized plant matter, found mainly in underground deposits and widely used as fuel. A diamond; a precious stone consisting of a clear and colorless crystalline form of pure carbon, the hardest naturally occurring substance. So, growing up with the name diamond and having obstacles to overcome throughout my life have led me to believe in one thing. The challenges of my life have only come to make me stronger, brilliant, and marvelous inside and out; just like the diamond before the coal. And the same goes for you too. These poems are a glance into my heart and soul. My feelings of hope, sadness, faith, fear, confidence, and motivation. A letter to society to stay strong and understand you are not alone.
