About the Author

Author and speaker, Gordon Wadsworth, founded Financial Aid Information Services in 1991. Since that time, FAIS has helped thousands of students avoid the "student loan trap."

Wadsworth was an advertising and journalism major at the University of Iowa prior to spending two years in the military. After his tenure as a writer and photographer during strategic military activities, he returned to college graduating from San Jose State University.

The College Trap2 is the author's third book on student financial aid, representing over 20 years of research on the subject. His writing reflects his own experience dealing with funding a college education as well as the experience of many who have called or contacted FAIS. Wadsworth's other successful titles include Cost Effective College and Debt Free College.
