About the Author

Kaylin grew up on a small farm in Flagstaff, AZ with a variety of animals and working dogs. After many years competing with large herding and working breeds in agility, obedience, hunting, and sled dog racing, she wanted a new challenge and got a Jack Russell Terrier by the name of Marty McFly. She has over ten years of experience in veterinary medicine and twenty years of experience working and competing with dogs. Her Jack Russell Terrier brought new and unique challenges to training and competing and ended up with a lifelong friend and companion.

Kaylin currently lives in New York City with her fiancé and Marty McFly. She spends her free time with Marty McFly kayaking on the bay, stand up paddleboarding, or heading upstate to go hiking and camping. Her hope is that her experiences, alongside the challenges and successes she endured raising Marty McFly, will help her readers become confident training and raising their Jack Russell Terrier.
