About the Author

Michael Findley has been on the road ever since his mother took him and his younger brother to spend summers in Illinois with his grandparents while she worked in the Phoenix, AZ area where he grew up and went to school. He collected comic books, made models (Including the original Starship Enterprise) and has his share of car stories including everything from dune buggies to a Volkswagen with a Porsche engine. He spent his college years traveling between Phoenix and South Carolina and worked as a mechanical draftsman.

After getting his Masters in Church History he moved back to the Phoenix area to teach in a small college and later to work as a QC inspector. He's also lived in Pennsylvania and Missouri, taught adult Sunday School, College classes and high school as well as homeschooling. He worked as a computer programmer and most recently as an over-the-road truck driver. He is married and has three grown children scattered around the country.
