Author Tara S. Reidenbaugh has her bachelor of science in nursing. She lives in rural Pennsylvania, just south of Pittsburgh, with her family on a small farm. She has always loved animals, and they have been a central part of her life. She was inspired by her dog's adventure to write this book.
About the Illustrator
Illustrator Thomas E.McCrady was born on March 27, 1947. He was reared in Oakmont, PA and summered in Chautauqua, N.Y. Thomas studied for two years at the San Francisco Art Institute and one year at the Pittsburgh Art Institute. He operated an art and photography studio since 1974. Eventually he retired to Maple Springs, NY where he managed a US post office for twelve years. Thomas has always loved art and continues to do so even after being diagnosed with ALS in 2014. He enjoyed using his talents to make this book come to life.
