The story is appropriate for adults and children, alike."Star" was a real cow and Farmer Alan and Ed and all the kids in the story were also real people! Jo Ann (Nizza) Parker masterfully weaves the important message of inclusion of a bunch of cows who accepted one that was different. This would be a great book for special education teachers to use for trainings and/or to just read to their students - or better yet, have their students read to them.
