Rabbit was so angry she could spit. She hated being stuck underwater when she couldn’t swim. She resented being the least attractive girl she saw every single place she went. She was appalled that half the land of Prism thought she was a traitor, while the other half thought she was some kind of heroine. And most of all she hated having to face every problem wearing the briefest bikini she had ever seen.
Meanwhile, her friend Rupert had problems of his own. Finding the stolen blue crystal of Prism had become doubly difficult now that Cerulea, spoilt and whiny princess of the kingdom of Undersea, insisted on accompanying them. Flirtatious and helpless, her constant complaints distracted everyone from the task at hand, making them all the more vulnerable to the threats that appeared, increasingly, at every turn.
Accompanied by Jasper, who’d made a huge tactical error kissing Rabbit, and Aden, who has an unexpected secret, the four are sucked into Undersea and its terrifying darkness for the second part of the quest to save the fading land of Prism.
The Deeper Darkness is book two in K.E. Stapylton’s fabulous Prism Series, and is suitable for ages 10 and up.
