Overview

Have you ever felt that your life has been ruled by something other than yourself? Well, it probably has. And there is a good chance that it was fear. I have spent much of my life chasing validation at at any and every cost. Whether it was fear of disappointing my family, the people around me, society, or even the man I married, there is no facet of my life that has not been permeated and plagued by fear. Now, as everyone around me has it all figured out, I have a unique opportunity to start over. I am in the process of learning who I truly am out of the confines of everyone's expectations, and writing my own narrative. I am breaking free of the definition of fear. Will I ever fully break free from it? (Spoiler alert: no.) But each moment in time this book holds will forever lie within me. One day, I will look back upon it and see the beauty in that.

About the Author

While I have explored other things, ever since the time I was a young girl, writing has always been what I always call home, moreso than any place or person. I am a Washington, DC city girl, a Texas country girl, and a military brat all rolled into one, so home is complicated, but writing has always been there for me no matter where I wander, or who is around. I delve into my imagination and write using pieces of experiences I have collected either by living them or hearing about them. I am a dreamer at heart who is always having an adventure, even if I am going nowhere and sitting in my own bedroom. I hope you enjoy reading this book as much as I enjoyed writing it. I love you, and until next time
