Overview

This is a story of the Dugan Family that originated in Ireland. The mother

died giving birth to her second son Jim. The father could not forgive the

boy and gave him to his sister and her husband to raise. When she died,

he discovered he had a brother in America and came to the USA to find

him. His brother Dan in America owned and opened a lumber mill in

Tennessee.

The story goes on to describe the hardships of the mill due to a greedy

banker and an ultimate reunion of the brothers.

About the Author

My name is Don Sparks Sr. I was born in Cleveland Ohio on September

12,1942.

God has blessed me with a wonderful family and a long and healthy life.

I have written many poems and a couple novels and almost all my work

stems from dreams that woke me in the middle of the night. When they

occur, I rise, jot down a few notes and then in the morning write down

what I dreamed about. My wife is very understanding and is the driving

force that keeps me going.
