Overview

In the past, the human race believed there was only one Element.
They thought he had strength greater than life on this Earth.
They thought all humanity would bow down at his feet.
They thought he had come to restore peace forever.
They thought he could never die.

They were wrong.

About the Author

Jessica Bodford is a Raleigh, N.C. native and a junior at UNC-Chapel Hill, where she is studying Quantitative Psychology and Spanish with a minor in Information Systems. She is actively involved in the Chapel of the Cross’s Episcopal Campus Ministry as a small group leader, Webmaster, historian and acolyte as well as the Vietnamese Students Association and dance team.

She has worked as a writer, photographer and copy editor for UNC’s nationally renowned newspaper, The Daily Tar Heel, for two years. Besides her love for fashion, U2, coffee and consignment shopping, she also has a guilty obsession with Pokémon, Harry Potter and Neopets.

Ever since she first saw Franco Zeffirelli’s “Jesus of Nazareth” as a kid, her lifelong dream has been to travel to Israel as a means of furthering both her connection with and understanding of her faith and, through that, her identity as a whole.
