About the Author

Dr. Berney J Wilkinson is a licensed psychologist who works primarily with children and families in his private practice (PACFlorida.com) located in central Florida. Dr. Wilkinson specializes in developmental disorders, emotional and behavioral disturbances, neuropsychological assessment, and parent training. Dr. Wilkinson authors a weekly column in the local newspaper, entitled The Mental Breakdown. He was a featured expert on The Learning Channel's "Make Room for Baby" and co-authored the Pediatric Behavior Rating Scale with Dr. Richard Marshall. In addition to his clinical work and writing, Dr. Wilkinson is an Adjunct Professor at Webster University and at Florida Southern College. Dr. Wilkinson is the co-host of two weekly podcasts - The Mental Breakdown and The Paedeia Education Podcast - which can be found on iTunes and Google Play Music. Dr. Wilkinson travels the country speaking to professional and community groups about mental health, self-help, and parenting topics.

Dr. Richard M. Marshall is an Associate Professor at the University of South Florida. In addition to teaching, he is a licensed school psychologist with specialty training in pediatric and adolescent neuropsychology.
