About the Author

Elizabeth A. Capezuti, PhD, RN, FAAN, is the William Randolph Hearst Foundation Chair in gerontology at the Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing of the City University of New York (CUNY). Dr. Capezuti teaches in the graduate doctor of nursing practice (DNP) program and is a professor in the PhD program in nursing science and social welfare at the Graduate Center, CUNY.


Michael L. Malone, MD, is the medical director of Aurora Health Care—Senior Services and the Aurora at Home. He is a clinical adjunct professor of medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.


Ariba Khan, MD, MPH, is a geriatrician with Aurora Health Care (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) and clinical adjunct associate professor of medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
