About the Author

Mark Rowland is a retired author and true crime collector, most famously known for his books The Sawtooth Fairy and The Witch’s Box. Along with his longer works, Mark has contributed short stories to nearly every reputable horror magazine or journal in the U.S and beyond. In 2014, he was the recipient of the well-known Fright! Award, bestowed by The Horror Writers’ Collective, based in the UK. Today, he lives with his wife and teenage son in Johnstown, PA, the very town in which he was born and raised. He has recently set up a grant program for new and promising voices in horror literature, called Emily’s Award, named after his late daughter.
