About the Author

Joanna Grzeszczak (pronounced Gshe-sh-ch-ak) was born and raised in Poland. In 2008, she received a master’s degree in Psychology, with a focus on family, from the University of Wroclaw. Shortly after, at the age of 25 years old, she moved to Montreal, Canada where she pursued her studies at the University of Montreal and received a certificate of proficiency in French. She now lives with her French-speaking husband Vincent and two daughters, Lilianne, Mila-Rose (and baby...) in a small city cottage. She started writing and photographing in 2014 and has established herself as a blogger and content creator behind the Lazy Mom's Blog. Her mission is to inspire and uplift mothers on this difficult journey of motherhood, focusing her work on mindful living, home decorating, and family lifestyle. Her articles on self-help, positive body image, and parenting have been widely shared throughout social media, and her decorating projects have been featured in furniture catalogues and Canadian Living magazine. But the core of her blog has always been raising kids, crafting with them, and finding creative ways to help them develop independent thinking, imagination, and gratitude. When she isn’t writing or photographing, she can be found in the kitchen baking cookies with her kids or redecorating someone's home. Find more about Joanna at her blog www.lazymomsblog.com or on Instagram (@lazymoms).
