Grandpa is home alone with the chickens when a thunderstorm strikes. He must get dressed and go out into the thunder, lightning, and pouring rain to make sure all of the chickens are in a safe place. But its a big job rounding up the Hollywood hens who are afraid of the storm. It looks like grandpa is going to need some help to get the last chick back into the coop.

Grandpa was home alone – with the Chickens.

 

He raked the leaves, mowed the lawn, pulled some weeds

 

and took a nap.

 

 

 

 

KABOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

 

KABOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

 

 

 

 

 

Grandpa woke up.

 

It was a thunderstorm.

 

 

 

 

“OH! NO!”

 

“I have to put the chickens AWAY!”

 

 

 

He put on his boots. He put on his rain jacket.

 

He put on his rain hat.

 

And he went out into the storm.
