Overview

On a planet with three women for every man, eugenicists believe Teakh Noahee to be innately monogamous and altruistic. He loses a spoonful of his seed to a mysterious trio of women. They are succubi, professionals who sell semen on the black market. Teakh falls in love with one of them. Determined to assist in raising his children, he rebels against the matriarchy and sets his own course, founding a new clan that treats men and women as equals, all for the love of the woman who cheated him.

About the Author

Lizzie Newell moved to Alaska the year of the Exxon Valdez oil spill. As she traveled aboard M/V Columbia ferry, she fantasized that Prince William Sound was an injured boy.
The fantasy crystallized into a story when she visited Angoon, Alaska, as part of an effort to install computer networks in schools. She saw the tide flowing out of Kootznahoo Inlet and knew she must write of a world where tide determines everything.
She lives in Anchorage, Alaska, where she writes science fiction about the planet Fenria. She also crafts drawings, paints, sculpture, card models, costumes, and jewelry related to her fictional world.
