Lost gospels from some of Jesus's earliest disciples and apostles were ordered "purged" by the church.
Their content was guarded as if bound by chains. The church taught these gospels were false and dangerous for faith.
In 1945, these chains were broken. Now known, these gospels have a strong belief in Jesus as Lord and Savior as bold as the biblical gospels.
Their relevance is that they lead the way for Christianity being more than a "what you must believe" religion to a more spiritual faith. Their little-known story needs to be heard.
