Overview

Queen Laura, Princesses Melissa and Jenny, and Guard Ralph use the fairy queen's transportation portal to travel to the Outside World. They happened to be near a beautiful diamond gemstone palace. There are mountains and valleys of snow all around them, but no one can be seen. Because there aren't many trees in the area they've found themselves in, they begin exploring the Diamond Kingdom.

There is only one rule to a powerful curse that has been placed on the Diamond Palace: do not touch anything inside, even if the statues resemble real people. Who ignores the curse's rule? The correct answer is Laura; she was tempted to touch a beautiful book that did not have a title on the spine, unlike the others. She grabbed it, and the curse throws her and the others out of the palace, banishing them from the magnificent castle. The book turns out to be a man named Ryder who does not express much gratitude.

They discover more curses as they travel from the Diamond Kingdom to the Sapphire Kingdom, which is located further north. Laura still knows very little about Ryder, other than the fact that he was a cursed book for a long time and that he is originally from the Sapphire Kingdom, but she never told him where she and others are from. Or she is the true queen of the Enchanted Forest, but Ryder despises the term "magic" and believes it evil. How can they assist one another if they do not fully trust one another? The Outside World expands beyond the group's expectations; how will they find the missing soldiers and the three sisters' parents? Will they ever be able to find the missing in this strange new world?
