The General

Overview

This is a short story written to help introduce some main and supporting characters in a series I am writing. This was made to help give a little more background and to see if there is any interest in my stories. It is about a future earth that is being swept with a mutating plague. The ones lucky to survive are changed drastically. Some are very visible with fur and animal characteristics and others are not so visible with telekinesis and psychokinesis. The world is about to change for ever and its not going to be easy. The General is the start of it all. He sees what is about to happen and makes choices and puts things into place to insure that at least his teams and people and himself are prepared and ready to act. He will not let fate determine his future. He will insure the preparations are made and things are in place to protect what he believes in.
