About the Author

Chris Chavez has been married to Heather for ten years. They have twice adopted siblings from the foster care system: Antonio, Moriah, Samuel, and Thaddeus. Chris has published 'A Forever Family for Antonio: A Gospel Adoption Journey', an adoption book for children; 'The Family Discipleship Bible', a family resource; and 'Vanity, Vanity: American Christianity', a Christian spiritual life book. In addition to writing, he has served as pastoral associate and as an associate pastor/elder for a church plant in Houston. He is currently writing additional books to equip believers, including a practical book on biblical manhood due out in 2019. Chris and Heather also own and operate Traditions Window Decor in Katy, Texas.
