The Happy Prince
It is a story of a statue that is covered in gold and jewels and everyone admires him but he just stands there alone. One day a bird goes to nest at his feet and he asks the bird to help him help others that he sees are in need.

THE HAPPY PRINCE
High above the city, on a tall column, stood the statue of the Happy Prince. He was gilded all over with thin leaves of fine gold, for eyes he had two bright sapphires, and a large red ruby glowed on his sword-hilt.

Although this book is wonderful for young readers, adults will love it as well.
