After growing up in the Midwest, Monte Kline came to the Pacific Northwest in pursuit of a college education in geology and to enjoy the region’s scenic beauty. However, coming to know Christ his sophomore year changed his plans, redirecting him after graduation into several years of college campus Christian ministry. During that time he developed a serious cancer condition that was ultimately resolved with a natural medicine approach. This experience launched him into a career of speaking, writing books and presenting health and nutrition from a biblical perspective, including Eat, Drink & Be Ready, The Junk Food Withdrawal Manual, Vitamin Manual for the Confused, The Sick & Tired Manual, and Body, Mind & Health. After completing a graduate degree in Nutrition & Wholistic Health Sciences, Monte went into practice as a Clinical Nutritionist in 1984. He currently directs two Pacific Health Center practices in the Northwest. Monte, along with his wife Nancy live near Sisters, Oregon.
