About the Author

Carrie has been a freelance writer and arts advocate for the last 45 years. As a freelance writer she has not only published dozens of short stories, and hundreds of newspaper and magazine articles, she has also written two books: A Family Story of Alzheimer's: The Last Childhood (non-fiction/Random House, 2000. Now available as an ebook on Amazon.com) and Lillian's Garden (fiction/Roundfire Book, an imprint of John Hunt Publishing, 2013).

As a freelance writer she has also worked extensively in public relations, promotion, and various medias including radio and television.
