About the Author

Martin Link is the driving force behind The Leaf People Book. Born in 1954, he grew up in Clifton, New Jersey and graduated Montclair University in New Jersey with a B.A. in Business, Sales and Marketing. Martin also attended the New York Academy of Dramatic Arts, and took additional classes at H.B. Studios in N.Y.C. He currently resides at the Jersey Shore—he loves the ocean and considers himself Jersey Strong. A giver, he truly believes that one never stops growing spiritually or intellectually. Martin is an unashamed fan of holidays—especially Christmas, and loves any occasion where gifts are exchanged.
He believes that the secret to happiness is to surround oneself with good, positive people and to avoid negativity. He donates to AIDS and cancer research and to organizations that promote Tolerance, Family Values, and Respect for nature. He views life as a treasure from God, appreciating it every day. Martin is a cancer survivor and to this day he says cancer was a blessing to his life.
