The Leaf People message is one of family values to stop hate, respect for the environment and accept the differences that make each of us unique. The lesson is to understand diversity, tolerance, anti-bullying, and the wonder of nature all around us. The Leaf People take you on a journey showing you how people can change given the opportunity to do so, and that harmony is possible in everyone's lives. “In Leaf People World, the plants, trees, and animals grow together, and so do you.”

There are over 160 pages of hand-painted gouache art and over 50 pages of fashion design sketches to enjoy in the back. This book weighs 4 pounds and is an 8 ½” X 11” hard cover with green foil framing and title. The paper is FSC certified. The offset printing results in attention to detail, bright, primary and pastel colors that glow.

Current events around the world made this book a work in progress for over 20 years. Referred to as a museum quality art book, The Leaf People is a family heirloom to be cherished for a lifetime.

About the Author

Martin Link is the driving force behind The Leaf People Book. Born in 1954, he grew up in Clifton, New Jersey and graduated Montclair University in New Jersey with a B.A. in Business, Sales and Marketing. Martin also attended the New York Academy of Dramatic Arts, and took additional classes at H.B. Studios in N.Y.C. He currently resides at the Jersey Shore—he loves the ocean and considers himself Jersey Strong. A giver, he truly believes that one never stops growing spiritually or intellectually. Martin is an unashamed fan of holidays—especially Christmas, and loves any occasion where gifts are exchanged.
He believes that the secret to happiness is to surround oneself with good, positive people and to avoid negativity. He donates to AIDS and cancer research and to organizations that promote Tolerance, Family Values, and Respect for nature. He views life as a treasure from God, appreciating it every day. Martin is a cancer survivor and to this day he says cancer was a blessing to his life.
