The Legacy
Frank Masters is a serial killer that abducts, rapes, and tortures his victims before returning their bodies to be found where he abducted them from. Frank is in the middle of performing his ritual on his last victim, Emma, when he is interrupted. The night ends with Emma’s survival and Frank taking his own life.
Five year’s later, Emma is trying to get on with her life when the killings start up again. Everything is the same with the rituals as it was with Frank. It seems as someone has picked up where he left off. The killer starts to send Emma notes and gives, taunting her, telling her that her time is coming. After the first victim is found, Brian, Frank’s son contacts Emma and requests a meeting with her. At first Emma is unsure of how to deal with him, but as time goes on they become closer and closer.
Detective Morris is the original cop who worked the case and the one who saved Emma from Frank, he is working furiously trying to stop this new killer before Emma can be harmed again. The killer taunts him as well through notes, assuring him that this time he won’t be able to save her.
