Overview

Faye is a baby human foundling who with Whimsy, is changed into a fairy and is raised by her friends in the Narrow by the river. On the eve of Faye's 18th birthday, a sailor named Holden arrives. Trapped in a fairy circle, Holden is then changed into a fairy too. His questions lead Faye to discover the truth about her human history and she then must decide if she wants to remain a fairy or become human again. To help her decide, Holden then convinces Faye to take an adventure where he shows her human life on the other side of the river. There she displays bravery, makes new friends, learns about kindness, and the value of money.
