About the Author

Katherine Grayson is an artist and illustrator from Nashville Tennessee. The oldest of six children, she learned early to escape into her imagination, where she fell in love with dinosaurs, astronauts, sharks, and dragons. After studying art seriously for the past eight years, she is launching a career in commercial art with murals, logos, and artwork for books. She is also working on writing and illustrating a series of children's books that celebrate kids from diverse backgrounds in fantasy and science fiction environments.
