About the Author

Jennifer Trafton is a children's book author. Her first novel for middle-grade readers, The Rise and Fall of Mount Majestic, was published in 2010 and was nominated for Tennessee's Volunteer State Book Award and the National Homeschool Book Award. She released Henry and the Chalk Dragon in 2017. Trafton did her undergraduate study at Wake Forest University, received a master's degree at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and then did further graduate work in religion, history, and literature at Duke University before serving as the managing editor of a history magazine for four years.
