Overview

The Luckiest Rock made its way from late night ramblings and giggles of bedtime stories.  Along with reading and 'tucking in', often I would hear, 'tell me a story.' And with some thought, a tale would begin.  Some stories were endings of those unfinished, some were funny, some were tall, and many were full of adventure.  This short children's story is a lighthearted, warm tale of a rock who is full of pride and ego, in a life alone. You will read, from his vantage point, how he views the world below, how he slips and falls and lands in the valley where life becomes fuller for big rock. You will be introduced to a few fun-loving and carefree children who make him part of their summer fun. No matter how cold the old rock can be, he warms to his new life and never looks back.

He lives with his family on their family farm south of Nashville, TN., where they raise cattle, mend fences, enjoy the land, and host events.
