The Lycan Chronicles: Muscle & Bone
Meet Lycanthropus Fatalis
When Jennifer Murphy clocked out from her job at a club in LA she was accosted by a customer in the parking lot. He was like so many other men for whom the word no meant nothing.
But this was no ordinary man.
Her attacker transformed into something huge, hairy with a mouthful of teeth. Yet, she survived.
Some people think Homo Sapiens are the sole surviving members of the Hominid Family. If you believe this, you'd be wrong.
It's time to revisit Lycanthropus Fatalis
They have lived among us since the Ice Age. They are your friends, neighbors, coworkers, maybe even your lovers. You have sat beside them on buses, subways and movie theaters.
They are apex predators, in sheep's clothing, living among the sheep. They migrate among food sources the multiply exponentially.
Finally, their story has been put into print.
Welcome to The Lycan Chronicles.

About the Author

I was born in California, the son of a US Marine. As an adult, I became a 3rd generation military member. I grew up in a small town in Texas. Kemp was never much more than a blinking red light on a not-so-busy highway. It was a one-horse town by the very definition.

Mr. Reed, my high school English teacher also taught college English. He informed us toward the end of our senior year, that he had only made one syllabus. Unbeknownst to us, we were sharing the same syllabus with his college class. Wherever the world has taken you Mr. Reed, well played and thank you.

I developed a love for the theater. I worked in community theater. I played Riff Raff in the stage production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

As an avid horror fan, I volunteered at a charity haunted house. Through my deep love of theater, horror movies and the genetic curse of insomnia my beloved Lycans were born. They were birthed in a spiral notebook, old school pen and paper. It didn't take long for them to take on a life of their own. It often feels like these fictional characters, of my creation, dictate a large portion of my life now.

I have been coast-to-coast. I have gazed out at the Pacific and the Atlantic. I have played the part of nomadic traveler. Through it all, I settled down in small town Oklahoma, about three hours from where I grew up. I live with my two boys, who are quickly growing into strong young men.

Here is my one wish for us all that may we always find our way home.
