The Magic of What Is: The Perpetual Pulse of the Patriot
Death is concept distorted by the imaginations of men. No one can come back to tell you what death truly is so why on earth would humans just assume death means no more existence for the seemingly nonfunctioning soul? In Judaism. G-d tells us that our souls renew, that they live on for eternity with G-d. What is a soul without a body? Is it anything at all? What came first in creation? The soul came first, the body followed. Some Christians will argue Heaven as being a different place in a cloud where good people ascend. I will often argue a point derived from Adam and Eve that Christians always bring up when it comes to this argument. Both Christians and Jews can agree that all humans were born immortal, that is, until something changed this thinking in the Garden of Eden. Christians will often argue that this is humanity's punishment, they state that we have to die because Eve sinned against G-d's Word while G-d remains ruling over us for all eternity. This is not the case. It is my firm belief that the story of Adam and Eve signifies a lesson that most have never caught a glimpse of. The apple that Eve ate despite the Will of G-d was G-d showing His creations, for the very first time, that we have free will. He wanted to show us that we as humans are not meant to be slaves to an all-powerful puppet master. Rather, we have choices and the ability to make those choices ourselves. Above all, it is important here to note that, G-d does not make mistakes. If we humans were born immortal, we are still immortal. G-d would not destroy the life he created for a human to make room for another brand new creation. All teachings of the Torah tell us that Judaism is a religion focused on embracing life instead of focusing on an afterlife. However, what is life without death? How can one truly cherish anything, whether it be inheriting wealth or life itself, if one is born into a world without anything to lose? When someone has nothing to lose, what will one have to live for?

About the Author

Karen Ben-Moyal is an American-Israeli, Jewish author, philosopher, independent political activist, and student-pilot-trainee from San Marcos, Texas. Over the past decade, Ben-Moyal has been studying, working, and changing the dangerously radicalized American political environment from within; By creating several successful freedom-focused organizations, and being hired for various political and media influencers, campaign candidates, and local/national statesmen in the past, while living in both Washington, D.C., and Texas. Capitalizing upon Karen's previous accomplishments, Ms. Ben-Moyal graduated from the University of Houston in May of 2018, with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, minor in history, and focus on International Relations. Prior to her current position as a political news editor/contributor with a D.C. digital marketing firm, Ben-Moyal was employed as a Political Consultant for American Target Advertising, under the leadership of Richard Viguerie of The Conservative Caucus in Northern Virginia. Before returning to Texas from working in Washington, DC. for Newt and Callista Gingrich at Gingrich 360, and on Capitol Hill for Lobbyists at The Livingston Group, Ben-Moyal was also an assistant producer at D’Souza Media where she worked on the production team of Dinesh D’Souza’s documentary, ‘Death of A Nation.’ Karen led her YAF UH team mates in growing an expansive liberty-oriented organization on a "free-speech-zone-campus," built stable relations with heads of the UH Board, along with the UH Activities Funding Board staff members, Young America's Foundation's National organization, and all management leaders assisting the nationally-acclaimed keynote speakers which were organized and hosted on UH Campus, by Karen and her Young Americans for Freedom team members. KBM brought several speakers to the University on behalf of YAF UH, including Dinesh D’Souza, Herman Cain, and David Horowitz. Karen has also worked for congressmen such as Ted Poe, Dan Crenshaw, and Pete Olson. During her time spent working for Houston City Councilman Mike Knox, Karen helped rebuild Houston's OBO System. In her spare time, Ben-Moyal writes as a published author for various platforms, guest speaks at political functions, is working to earn her private pilot’s license in order to be able to fly military aircraft in the future, and leads the Independent League of Voters Organization, where she activizes for The Individual Rights of All People, under G-d.
