Overview

Once upon a time, in a big forest, a couple built and moved into a beautiful home, with their ten year old daughter. The years were good. They loved each other, they loved their daughter, and they loved their house. But, as happens in life, the daughter grew up and moved away, as did all her friends in the forest. Suddenly, the neighborhood seemed quiet. Very, very quiet. No kids. Not one single child lived in the forest anymore! And, it had become lonely there! But finally, years later, a family moved into one of the houses in the forest, and brought their four children with them. Three boys and a girl. The girl was the oldest and her name was Sadie. The little girl, Sadie, wanting to do something nice for the woman (who was getting older), gave a gift to her. Little did she know when she gave it to the old woman that it would turn into something magical that would change the old woman forever. What did she give her? And, how did it become magical? And what kind of magic did it produce? A TRUE STORY.

About the Author

I have been in love with the written word since I was old enough to read. After graduating college, I taught high school until I decided I wanted to spend more time "creating". So, twenty years after beginning to teach public school, I "retired myself" and now I write full time.

After living half my life on the West Coast, we moved all the way across the country, where we now live on the East Coast. It is just the two of us after our one daughter had the audacity to grow up, marry, and move away. However, that "move away" is only five miles from our home.
