About the Author

This is Shennendoah E. Hollsten's first novel, which she wrote traveling the globe with her family. As with anyone who travels the globe, Shennendoah has befriended people from many countries with whom she's shared great adventures. Shennendoah's appreciation of cultures other than her own comes to life in her novel, which is well-researched and indicative of a true global citizen.

Shennendoah is native to California, but lives in France and Mexico when not stateside. Shennendoah wrote this book when she was 13 years old, but did not publish it because of her heavy travel schedule.

Shennendoah is enrolled as a Young Scholar in a University-based distance learning program, which allows her to travel extensively. Shennendoah is multi-lingual, studying French, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, and Swedish. Shennendoah is also a skilled Manga artist and earning commissions with private industries where she has designed company logos and cartoon strips for famous celebrities.
