"The Messiah?" tells the story of young Zadok, a member of the House of Joseph within the Tribe of Israel. Zadok's people have lived in Persia for hundreds of years vowing not to return to the City of David in the Land of Palestine until the coming of "The Messiah."
When word reaches his people that "The Messiah" has appeared, young Zadok is sent to the City to investigate. His mission is to contact "The Messiah" or His followers. As a result of his journey, Zadok is caught up and becomes part of the Politics and Power struggles that exists between tribes, nations, and within his own family. About the Author

Woodrow Manning Jr. aka M. Bilal Hook was born and raised in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. He was educated in the Philadelphia Public School System. After which he attended Cheyney University where he earned a B.A. in Chemistry. He worked in the chemical and plastics industries for 10 years before setting out on his own as an entrepreneur.
Throughout this entire period of time he has had a fascination with history, in particular world history and religious history. After retiring he decided to write a series of novels part history and part fiction to bring his passion to the public. The “Messiah?” is the first of these Novels.
