About the Author

Chris Weld is the author and producer of the Mice of Dumpler series. He also writes fantasy fiction.

Chris studied English and Business Management at the University of South Florida and graduated with a B.S. in Business Management. He currently works in the mortgage industry but has worked previously in design, startups, and education. He loves roller-coasters, long chats about book ideas, board games, and computer games. He’s been known to play an occasional game of chess too.

Chris conceived of the Mice of Dumpler as a world to play with ideas that were a little more fun than plain grown-up fiction; something suitable for children, while still retaining a little hint of unease and danger to keep it interesting for older readers and the adults who read to young children.Lovely is our illustrator. All the interior drawings in Mice of Dumpler are traditional media in ink and watercolor! She helped with the cover design, provided all of the character designs and interior ink and watercolors, and designed and inked the lovely (pardon the pun) title design as well.
