This was definitely my favorite Volardi book so far. I loved that, while in the previous books, we have seen Volardi justice be executed with exacting fairness - this book focused on the Hand side of their nature, rather than the Boot.

Wild West meets Outer Space

I enjoyed Caan and how he evolved during the story without losing himself. His father, Nate, was apparently in earlier books and was a horrible person in it. Seeing his evolution from what he was to what he is will cause you to really think on how you view things and criminals.

This one was one I loved even if some of the Sci-Fi elements were over my head at times.
