About the Author

William L. Sullivan is the author of seven novels and more than a dozen nonfiction books about Oregon. The Oregon Cultural Heritage Commission chose his memoir "Listening for Coyote" as one of the 100 most significant books in the state's history. Each summer he composes with a typewriter at his log cabin, far from roads and phones, in Oregon's Coast Range.
