About the Author

Carolyn Watson-Dubisch was born on Long Island in New York. At age eighteen she attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City where she met her future husband, Mike Dubisch. Together they have created murals, sculptures,and authored the award winning, all-ages, comic book series, "The People That Melt in The Rain". Carolyn has also written and illustrated six children's picture books and the comic series "The Horribles".She has three red-headed daughters and lives in the perpetually sunny urban beach of San Diego, CA.

Mike Dubisch has been a comic book professional since the age of 16, Mike has very solid roots in the horror and
fantasy genres. In the late 80s he worked on Fantaco's legendary horror anthology,
"Gore Shriek" alongside Steve Bissette. He was an honors graduate of New York's School
of Visual Arts and the impressive roster of artists he has studied under and worked with
includes names like Will Eisner, Walt Simonson, Juan Gonzalez, Joseph Michael Linsner,
and Barry Windsor-Smith. Mike Dubisch's artwork has graced album covers, book covers,
comic books, and magazines. His paintings and ink work capture a bold freshness to a
classic style, allowing him to carve his own niche among the greats.
