About the Author

Wendy holds a Dip. Teach Sec Sc, and since 1988 has taught teenagers to enjoy Science. Later she went on to acquire a BEd, (not the thing you sleep on) in counselling and religious education. More recently, Wendy undertook studies in financial planning, which she then upgraded to an advanced financial planning diploma. She was granted membership to the Australian College of Education, and the Doll Artisan Guild. Wendy is also an advanced First Aid instructor with St John, and qualified to teach safe driving for the Road Safety Council.

Among her other interests: Wendy also plays the organ at church; is a Neighbourhood Watch block co-ordinator; and has won the Ryan Award for community service.
