Overview

The Peter Gehr Story is a true account of a German immigrant arriving in colonial Pennsylvania in the first half of the eighteenth century. Peter Gehr was a man of determination with a spiritual hunger that would not let him go. His search for meaning in life led him to become involved in the Ephrata community of Conrad Beissel, where he both excelled and became extremely frustrated. This is a fascinating glimpse into life in colonial America.
