Power has been perceived to be "over others" or clearly represented as control of others. "The Church" is seen to have Power because of the countless minds it influences. We ask the question "If we are a 'Christian Nation,' why are we not a "Peaceful Nation?" Do you know that domestic violence is the greatest cause of injury to women in this country? Politicians and governments are routinely identified as "The Ones with the Power." Every time we conclude that control and domination, or money and influence is Power, we diminish ourselves and give our Power away.
