About the Author

A.P. Muller has been writing short stories for middle and high school students since 2009. The Skull Mountain stories are a series of short stories about special forces soldier Michael Hallow and his team. Each story is a fresh episode in the adventures of Hallow as he fights against Apollo Weston and the evil forces of GOLIATH.

As a middle and high school English teacher, Muller noticed that his students (particularly boys) were not engaged in their reading assignments. There were plenty of important books to read--King Arthur, Treasure Island, To Kill a Mockingbird--but there was very little buy in on the part of the students. They could do the work, but they weren't interested in reading.

So he started writing a series of short stories himself. Each one is designed to appeal to students ages 12-17, and his ultimate goal is to instill a love of reading in this next generation of students.

A.P. Muller lives in Texas with his beautiful wife and seven children.
